After having lived all over the country Aliz and Paul settled down in Connecticut with their first son, Peter. A few years, and two children later, in 2003, Paul found HVWS and they decided this would be the best place for their children to grow.

Aliz worked at HVWS as the aftercare teacher assistant until her fourth child was born. While taking some time off to raise her youngest son, she became more interested in the Waldorf philosophy and attended various study groups and completed the Foundation Study before returning to work as Miss Isabel’s assistant in the Sunflower class. She worked in the Sunflower class as the Kindergarten assistant teacher for many years until her youngest son, Robert, graduated from HVWS.

She likes traveling, visiting new places, hiking, knitting, cooking and her biggest passion of all is spending time with her family.
