Torrey MacGregor

Class of 2029 Teacher

Torrey brings a rich background in teaching English at both public and private middle and high schools. Her journey toward Waldorf education began through her husband, who attended a Waldorf school himself. As both an educator and a parent, Torrey found that the Waldorf approach spoke to her deeply, aligning with her values and inspiring her to continue her teaching path within this unique educational framework.

Originally from Connecticut, Torrey attended Joel Barlow High School in Redding before earning her undergraduate degree from Grinnell College and her Master’s in Education from UMass Amherst. She and her family returned to Connecticut after living in Washington, D.C., where they now reside in Southbury with their three children.
