Mary and her husband Aaron joined our community when their two children, Aurora and Wren, joined the Early Childhood classrooms at HVWS.
Mary has supported the Early Childhood for many years, substituting when necessary. Mary worked at Apple Blossom previously, and has great familiarity with the Waldorf curriculum in the kindergarten environments.
Mary came to Waldorf after her love and joy for gardening introduced her to biodynamic farming and beekeeping. These methods of responsible agriculture and the development of the Waldorf curriculum are some of Rudolf Steiner’s contributions to the world that strongly resonated with Mary. She continued to explore the philosophies and how they aligned with her values. When her children were ready to begin school, she looked further into local Waldorf schools and came upon HVWS.
Mary’s warm presence, loving nature and nurturing qualities are well received in our early childhood program.
