Having worked in a multitude of administrative capacities at various schools, educational programs, private companies, and nonprofits, Heather brings extensive expertise to our administrative team. Her overall experience bringing strong organizational and communication skills to busy work environments and her success in initiating and maintaining various office and outreach initiatives make her a particular asset to our community.
Having earned her B.S. in Environmental Education, Heather’s early career began focusing on connecting children to their own love for nature. In addition to her work in administration and as an educator, Heather has continued to use her talents and passion for community involvement in diversity and equity to develop, implement, and improve different programs dedicated to increasing access to nature, health, and housing.
Heather and her husband, Chip, originally joined our school when looking for a play-based preschool for their two young boys. They found their home in the Waldorf community and continue to grow their appreciation for the school’s pedagogy with one child in the Class of 2028 and the other in the Class of 2030. Heather cherishes working within a school community dedicated to thoughtful and purposeful education and looks forward to supporting our school in providing a warm, welcoming office environment for students, parents, and staff.
